Part time-study is only available to local students and is generally completed by day classes as there are limited night classes.
Any two units of English and a high level of proficiency (native or near-native level) in one of the languages offered in the course.
Students complete a period of professional practical experience, which normally takes place during the day time in semester breaks.
Australian employers are required to recruit accredited Interpreters and Translators. As this course is approved by Australia’s national accreditation body, the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters (NAATI), graduates will be qualified to work as interpreters and/or translators in:

Interpreters and translators may choose to work for a particular employer or to have the freedom and flexibility of working freelance.
